Job Summary
Assistant Supervisor in a part-time role delivering and supervising ABA treatment for patients with autism. Responsibilities include direct treatment to patients, supervising Behavior Technicians under CARD Clinical Supervisors, providing clinical feedback, conducting Caregiver Collaboration meetings, assisting with FBAs and BIPs, updating lesson notes and materials, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. The position supports CARD’s ABA programs across multiple settings (center, patient home, community) and requires completing CARD Assistant Supervisor Training and CARD Trainer Training for Initial Training Overlaps. Requires BCAT or RBT credentials or equivalent, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with ABA coursework/experience, and ability to work 30-40 hours weekly with reliable transportation. Located in Carlsbad, CA. Describes a dynamic environment with emphasis on empathy, collaboration, and continual learning, including telehealth possibilities and movement between locations.
Required Qualifications
- BCAT or RBT credential
- Bachelor’s Degree with 12 units of ABA and 1 year experience OR a bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience OR a master’s degree with the appropriate experience
- Experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services
- Availability to work a minimum of 30-40 hours per week for full time consideration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to train others effectively
- Willingness to work in a variety of locations (center, patient home, etc.)
- Familiar with iPads
- English proficiency in verbal and written forms
