Job Summary
Provide quality care to research animals and assist with animal husbandry tasks (feeding, watering, sanitation, observation, room cleaning) under the direction of the animal facility supervisor. Support the training and development of the animal care technicians, assist with orientations, facility maintenance, staff scheduling, SOP development, inventory and ordering, and data entry. Communicate with principal investigators and lab staff to answer questions and troubleshoot problems. Perform additional duties as directed by staff veterinarians or the facility supervisor.
