Job Summary
The Assistant Superintendent at Calusa Country Club plays a key role in managing all agronomic procedures for the 12-hole course, reporting directly to the Director of Agronomy. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, planning and directing maintenance and construction of course features, ensuring proper equipment maintenance, procuring supplies, keeping records of maintenance activities, and monitoring budgets. The role requires strong leadership and training skills, as the candidate will manage a team of 14, including managing licenses and compliance with regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree, associate's degree or equivalent in agronomy, horticulture, plant/soil science
- Three to four years related experience and/or training
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pesticide Application License

- Management experience in agronomy or related field
