Job Summary
Assist in managing all agronomic procedures for a 12-hole golf course at Calusa Country Club; supervise a staff of 14 including a second assistant and a chemical technician; collaborate with the Director of Agronomy to implement annual maintenance budgets and capital plans; oversee planning, organization, and direction of maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers; manage procurement, record-keeping, and reporting; ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations and proper licensing; coordinate snow removal as needed; develop orientation and ongoing training for associates; maintain safety and environmental standards and ensure staffing levels align with workload.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate's degree from a two- or four-year college or technical school
- Three to four years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent)
- Valid driver's license
- Pesticide Application License
- English language proficiency
