Job Summary
Coordinate onsite activities for sub-contractors, vendors, and material deliveries to ensure safe project progression while meeting deadlines. Assure dust control implementation, post required safety notices, and manage sub-contractor access by opening or locking up the project daily. Monitor construction quality against LGE and code enforcement standards, review plans, and create weekly look-ahead schedules. Chair coordination meetings with sub-contractors and the Superintendent, document progress with weekly photos, and address safety violations immediately. Supervise Tenant Improvement work and maintain updated "as built" record drawing sets. Assist the Superintendent with off-hour activities, city/county/state inspections, and weekly site safety meetings. Report to the Regional Vice President and participate in an annual performance review based on project delivery and team interactions.
Required Qualifications
- A strong, successful background in a commercial construction trade position for a minimum period of 5 years, or a degree in construction management with lesser experience
- Must have at least basic computer skills and be capable of using Microsoft Office programs
- Strong plan reading skills
- Some understanding of sequencing work to accomplish the greatest amount of work in the least amount of time
- OHSA 30 and Procore Certification
- Ability to work well with and guide field personnel
