Job Summary
Oversee field operations, jobsite safety, and quality assurance while managing cost control and schedule adherence. Coordinate the project team, lead daily trade huddles and weekly progress meetings, and monitor construction schedules to ensure efficient operations and OSHA compliance. Manage subcontractor performance, enforce contractual documents, and maintain accurate site records including logs, punch lists, and tool inventory. Plan and sequence trade activities, coordinate material procurement, and support management with bid scopes and RFIs. Deliver exceptional client service and proactively resolve potential project complications.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
- Must have a valid driver's license
- 5 years' experience as a commercial construction Superintendent
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
- Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Must have strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
- Must be able to meet high-quality standards while meeting aggressive schedules/deadlines
- Must display strong leadership skills and personal accountability
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Basic computer skills needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare, higher education, or K-12 construction is preferred
- Experience with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) is preferred
