Job Summary
Traveling Assistant Superintendent for a long-standing design-build firm, coordinating day-to-day on-site construction operations alongside the Superintendent across commercial projects (notably financial institutions) and guiding work from plans/specs to budget. Responsibilities include reading/interpreting specs, coordinating plans and site logistics, inventory and material flow, ensuring schedule adherence and safety (OSHA and COVID-19 requirements), scheduling inspections, creating daily work logs, coordinating interior design/furniture/branding/technology installations, and performing light carpentry as needed. The role supports clients, project teams, and subcontractors, with a plan to transition to managing independent projects as a full-time Superintendent after approximately 24 months. Requires regular weekly travel with potential overnight stays, 4-6 years of carpentry experience, a valid driver’s license, proficiency with Microsoft Office and iPad, and strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Regular weekly travel with possible overnight stays
- 4-6 years' experience as a carpenter
- Bank and Credit Union experience is a plus
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good motor vehicle record
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Office, etc.) and iPad functions
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
