Job Summary
Coordinate with the Site Superintendent to manage daily onsite operations, including scheduling materials, equipment, and subcontractors while monitoring work pace and quality. Assist in preparing and maintaining the project schedule, allocating resources, and generating RFIs for scope gaps or errors. Supervise onsite hourly employees, lead inspections with governing jurisdictions, and enforce subcontractor scopes of work. Maintain safety compliance, document daily activities, and manage punch lists across framing, rough-in, and finishes stages. This role supports the delivery of a 246-unit multifamily development in Columbus, OH, adhering to DevCo's quality standards and affordable housing mission.
Required Qualifications
- Ground Up Multifamily Construction Project Experience
- Garden Style, Podium, Wrap and/or Open Courtyard and Urban Mid-Rise Project Experience
- Strong reputation for working well with subcontractors
- Ability to create strong relationships with stakeholders
- Manage entire process from start to finish - including site clearing, earth work, underground utilities, site planning/logistics, managing/leading the entire field team on the site, walking the site regularly, holding weekly meetings, scheduling, evaluating performance, & communicating with Site Superintendent
- 3-5 years work experience in multifamily site supervision with proven ability to use multiple types of software to efficiently manage projects
- LIHTC Garden Style multifamily experience preferred
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen required
- Must be legally qualified to work in the U.S. meeting I-9 guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- 4-year degree in a construction related field or commensurate field experience preferred
