Job Summary
Assistant Superintendent for a Data Center construction project overseeing field construction, safety program implementation, and QA/QC coordination. Responsibilities include supervising field activities, developing and managing site safety and quality programs, conducting SafetyNet inspections and Critical Safe Behavior reviews, coordinating with the Engineering Manager and BIM/VDC teams, managing inspections and punch lists, and ensuring adherence to approved contract documents. Key skills include safety compliance, QA/QC oversight, subcontractor coordination, daily construction reporting, RFI/CSIs/changes management, and developing weekly work plans and Look-Ahead schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in supervising field construction for large projects
- Strong knowledge of safety programs and regulatory compliance
- QA/QC oversight and coordination with QA/QC Manager
- Ability to manage inspections, reviews, and punch lists
- Familiarity with BIM, VDC, and MEP coordination
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to develop and implement weekly work plans and lookahead schedules
- Ability to coordinate with engineering teams and regulatory inspections
- Experience with DCR and site reporting
