Job Summary
Administrative leadership role overseeing elementary education across K-5; provides instructional leadership, supervision, and oversight for K-5 by mentoring and supporting elementary principals, overseeing curriculum and program across elementary schools, and collaborating with district administration on staffing, policy, and professional development; requires licensing as Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent in Massachusetts and a Master’s degree with advanced graduate study; twelve-month administrative position with salary range $165,000-$175,000; location Winchester, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent by the Department of Education, Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Experience in teaching and school administration, K-5 experience desired, with a minimum of 5 years
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree with additional advanced graduate study in a specialized area and coursework in curriculum and instruction, supervision and evaluation, and school administration, including the use of data to improve instruction
- Knowledge of best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment, including child development, multi-tiered systems of support, social-emotional learning, instructional technology, data analysis, and family engagement
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
