Job Summary
Assist the Superintendent with daily field operations on commercial concrete projects, coordinating subcontractors, crews, equipment, and material deliveries. Monitor project schedules to ensure work progresses safely and efficiently while enforcing company safety procedures. Ensure all activities align with plans, specifications, and quality standards through participation in daily planning meetings and inspections. Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, and inspectors to manage punch lists and project closeout activities. This role offers a clear path to Superintendent with a salary of $70,000 - $100,000, including truck allowance and performance bonuses. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in commercial concrete construction and be willing to travel between Charlotte, NC, and Charleston, SC.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Foreman, or similar leadership role with a commercial concrete contractor
- Experience with commercial concrete construction, including slabs, foundations, tilt-up, podium, or structural concrete
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel to projects throughout the Charlotte and Charleston markets as business needs dictate
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
