Job Summary
Coordinate field operations for specific areas/trades on a project, supervise field work to align with contract documents and project schedule, enforce safety and quality programs, manage subcontractors and suppliers, monitor budgets and activity durations, and apply knowledge of equipment, material delivery dates, and safety standards to achieve milestones. Responsibilities include supervising work per contract documents, understanding project milestones, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety and government regulations, and utilizing construction-management software tools (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, P6).
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, a related discipline, or relevant work experience
- 3+ years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role
- Demonstrated ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers
- Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower
- Well versed in safety and government regulations (e.g., OSHA) with success in implementation on a job site
- Familiarity with construction management software platforms such as Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, and P6
