Job Summary
Greet neighbors and their pets, support the Store Team Leader in analyzing sales results and developing productivity plans, and adhere to operational policies for cleanliness, animal care, and safety. Recognize and reward team member performance, assist with recruiting and onboarding all levels, and cultivate a learning culture through coaching and feedback. Connect with community organizations to partner on events and marketing opportunities. This role requires 2+ years of retail leadership experience, a 4-year degree or equivalent, forklift operation skills, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading a retail team
- 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- good communication skills
- The ability to operate all equipment – including a forklift – to run the store
- being able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 plus pounds
- flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- reliable transportation
- pass the pre-employment drug, background and validated selection test
- 18 years of age or older
