Job Summary
Assistant Store Team Leader responsible for recruiting and orienting store staff, meeting sales goals through training and coaching sales staff, scheduling and supervising employees, monitoring expenses to achieve financial objectives, ensuring legal compliance, maintaining store presentation, building customer relationships, creating a positive team environment, addressing customer concerns promptly, analyzing daily sales and expenses to maximize profits, and handling banking responsibilities, while leveraging leadership and communication skills to develop a high-performing retail team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- 1 year supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively influence others
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
