Job Summary
Assistant Store Supervisor assists the Store Manager in daily store operations, trains and coaches employees, and helps drive overall company strategy. Build and maintain relationships with managers, hourly staff, carrier partners, vendors, and departments; provide exceptional customer service; ensure a safe, neat, and orderly facility; operate and utilize organizational systems; and contribute to improvements daily. Requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of warehouse or retail experience, ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, strong math and computer skills, and 8–10 hour shifts Monday–Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm in La Vergne, TN. Full-time position with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), life and disability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- at least 1 year experience in a warehouse or retail setting
- An excellent safety record is required
- You will be on your feet much of the day and may need to lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership, verbal & written communication, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
