Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager at Winners/HomeSense in Peterborough, ON. Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving with a strong focus on minimizing shrink and damages. Attract, recruit, and cultivate top talent by providing comprehensive training and ongoing development for Associates. Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a supportive environment to ensure a positive experience for Associates and customers. Implement action plans for projects, targets, and store changes; provide input on succession planning; coordinate loss prevention and operational programs; improve store layout and efficiency. Requires minimum 2 years of retail leadership experience and proficiency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team

- Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention
