Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all store operations, including recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining store employees; managing inventory and expenses; executing promotional strategies; coaching and developing staff; ensuring excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience; and helping meet or exceed sales and operational goals. This development role focuses on building team selling skills, product knowledge, and processes to improve store performance and profitability while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The position requires standing on the sales floor, managing daily operations, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years or older
- Completion of high school degree
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays
- Flexible to work 12 hour shifts at times
- Standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
