Job Summary
Oversee and support execution of key operational and visual processes while championing strong visual standards for the sales floor using business performance data. Lead strategic product presentation by managing product recovery, restock, and destock to ensure visual merchandising changes align with directives. Represent the business in meetings and collaborate with the General Manager to manage budgets, reporting, and planning processes. Ensure the Visual team embodies ALO's mission through regular coaching, talent development, and succession planning. Write effective schedules prioritizing business strategy and manage payroll to adapt visual support to business needs. This full-time role requires 75% floor management and coaching, with availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience of leadership within retail or related industry
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Agile with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment
- Highly Motivated by driving business in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Business owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Independent work ethic, time management skills, and personal accountability
- Aligns with and embodies ALO's Guiding Principles
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift
- Proof of right to live and work in country from start of employment
- Available for opening, closing and weekend shifts
