Assistant Store Manager

Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including creating a hospitable work environment, ensuring compliance with accounting and store policies, and meeting sales, production, and expense budget goals. Supervise store personnel by conducting regular evaluations, training new hires, scheduling staff to ensure full coverage, and completing biweekly payroll information. Order merchandise to maintain stock levels, manage cash receipts and banking, and submit daily sales reports to the finance department. Ensure safety measures align with The Salvation Army policy and government regulations. This role supports the work therapy program component by providing beneficiaries with an example of professional conduct and work habits.
