Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager in Trenton, NJ leading an advice-centric team to deliver TD’s model of convenience, sales and advice while ensuring compliant, high-quality customer interactions. Responsibilities include directing daily service, sales and operations; coaching and developing staff to achieve individual and store objectives; delivering end-to-end financial guidance, product recommendations, and proactive insights; managing teller and platform activity; and leveraging knowledge of local market and regulatory requirements to drive customer relationships and store performance. Requires leadership experience, strong communication, and familiarity with banking products; undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred; notary license and active NMLS registration may be advantageous. The role emphasizes building trust, educational content delivery, and proactive customer engagement to deepen relationships and achieve business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience working with customers and or sales in any capacity or equivalent
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sales and Operational Management skills
- Knowledge of banking products and services preferred
- Notary License (Preferred)
- Must maintain an active registration status with NMLS upon hire (Mortgage licensing) to discuss loan products
