Job Summary
Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics while supporting store operations to expand the customer base and maximize profitability. Assist in recruiting, training, and leading the store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Manage day-to-day functions such as payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink reduction while maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with alcohol sales laws. Resolve customer issues and foster a welcoming store atmosphere by leading by example. Report directly to the Store Manager. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1-3 years of work history with 2+ years in a managerial role, and ability to work flexible evening and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 2+ years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
