Job Summary
Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics while supporting store operations to maximize profitability. Assist in recruiting, training, and leading the store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Manage day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink, while delivering outstanding customer service by resolving issues and maintaining vendor relationships. Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 2+ years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday
