Job Summary
Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing key operations including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving, with a strong focus on minimizing shrink and damages. Attract, recruit, and cultivate top talent by providing comprehensive training for Associates while serving as a mentor to foster a supportive environment. Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, and store changes, coordinate loss prevention programs, and improve store layout and efficiency. This Assistant Store Manager role at a Sierra location in Rochester, MN, is bonus and overtime eligible with a starting pay of $22.70 to $31.20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship to others
- Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention, with strong follow-through skills to successfully implement tasks and initiatives
