Job Summary
Assist in driving store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving; recruit and cultivate top talent by providing comprehensive training and ongoing development for Associates; mentor and role model to ensure a positive and engaging experience for both Associates and customers; communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, company initiatives, and store changes; provide input on succession planning to meet future needs; implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and operational programs and improve store layout and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship to others
- Proficiency in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention
