Job Summary
As Assistant Store Manager, drive store performance by supporting sales targets, managing expenses, and overseeing key operations (merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping/receiving) with a focus on minimizing shrink and damages. Attract and develop top talent through comprehensive training, mentor and model a supportive environment for Associates and customers. Communicate and implement action plans for projects and company initiatives; participate in succession planning and implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer-service goals. Coordinate loss prevention and operational programs to improve store layout and efficiency. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship to others
- Proficient in store operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention
