Assistant Store Manager - Temporary

Job Summary
Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in accordance with productivity standards. Merchandise and stock areas as needed while ensuring cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping floors, and restocking. Assist with sales transactions at the assigned cash register and maintain security of cash and company assets. Manage customer interactions and ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment. This role requires lifting between 30 and 50 lbs and involves frequent standing, walking, and stooping. Full-time or part-time hours available in Harrisburg, Westville, Roa, and Beloit, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
