Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandise organization, and loss prevention. Assist customers with questions and concerns while maintaining a positive, safe environment. Manage inventory by ordering stock, processing damaged goods, and ensuring fixtures and displays meet standards. Supervise and train store associates, oversee payroll and cash register deposits, and enforce safety policies. Maintain store cleanliness through restocking, sweeping, and bathroom upkeep. Perform all other duties as assigned to support store functions and team development.
Required Qualifications
- ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
