Job Summary
Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely while merchandising and stocking assigned areas. Maintain a clean environment by cleaning restrooms, sweeping floors, and ensuring all spaces are neat. Manage sales transactions at the cash register and ensure the security of cash and company assets. Interact professionally with customers and associates to uphold a respectful atmosphere. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports daily store operations within a retail environment focused on creating inviting shopping experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
