Assistant Store Manager - Temporary

Job Summary
Lead a team in partnership with your Store Manager to deliver best-in-class guest experiences and drive profitability through engagement. Oversee store operations, including the five pillars of business, while championing floor leadership and empowering staff to self-lead. Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, conduct in-the-moment coaching, and develop a store leadership talent pipeline. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Community Marketing Manager to execute events that increase traffic and community involvement, and evaluate team needs quarterly to ensure staffing supports business goals. Maintain availability across six days per week, including peak periods like Black Friday, while upholding the Arc'teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of leadership and retail management experience
- dynamic leadership skills with the ability to recruit, hire, train, lead, motivate, retain and develop future leaders

- Proven financial acumen to include budgeting and forecasting sales, gross margin, expense control and net profit

- Maintain availability across six (6) days per week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Work a range of shifts every week, including peak days and high-traffic periods
- available to work 'Black Friday' (the day after US Thanksgiving) until the end of the holiday season
