Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding service to guests, managing associates, overseeing store administration, and ensuring a positive guest experience. The role involves training staff, maintaining store conditions, managing cash transactions, stocking merchandise, and ensuring security. Essential skills include effective communication, operating equipment, handling cash, and physical tasks such as lifting and stocking. Responsibilities include adhering to laws and regulations, as well as following company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to various temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
Additional Requirements
