Job Summary
The Assistant Manager ensures outstanding service to Guests through direct involvement and overseeing associates. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining store conditions, and implementing the Hi Five Guest Experience. Essential tasks involve store administration, overall guest services, operation of the POS system, stocking merchandise, security management, and maintenance of store compliance with laws and company policies. The role requires effective communication, ability to operate store equipment, and perform various physical tasks. Compensation ranges from $14.75 to $16.75 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic well enough to complete records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures as low as +33 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds from floor to height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
