Job Summary
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will ensure outstanding guest service by following The Hi Five Guest Experience phases, manage associates' performance, and handle store administration tasks. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, preparing DipSide menu items, operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining security against theft, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization. You must possess the ability to communicate effectively in English, operate store equipment, and manage financial transactions accurately. Candidates should be capable of lifting and moving merchandise, as well as enduring temperature variations in the workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand and operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers and complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to displays
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
