Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding service to guests following the Hi Five Guest Experience. They manage associates, ensuring performance standards are met, conduct training, oversee store administration, and coordinate guest services. They prepare food items, operate the point of sale system, maintain merchandise displays, ensure store security and cleanliness, and report directly to the Store Manager. Essential qualifications include strong communication, basic arithmetic skills, and the ability to work under various conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise and clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales.
