Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding service by ensuring compliance with the Hi Five Guest Experience, managing associates, overseeing store administration, providing overall guest services, operating the Point of Sale System, stocking merchandise, maintaining security and cleanliness, and completing reports. Candidates must have strong communication skills in English, ability to operate store equipment, manage cash transactions, and endure physical demands including lifting and temperature exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers.
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and to check identification documents.
- Ability to understand and operate all store equipment.
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
- Ability to handle various forms of payment accurately.
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic for record completion.
- Ability to move merchandise to shelves/displays/freezers.
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces.
- Ability to tolerate temperature variations.
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to place a 21 pound package into a dip cabinet.
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
- Position requires effective communication and operational skills.
