Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for ensuring outstanding service by applying The Hi Five Guest Experience. Duties include managing associates, overseeing store administration and guest services, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security and cleanliness, and completing reporting accurately. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, basic arithmetic abilities, and be capable of lifting and moving merchandise. Additionally, all candidates must comply with legal requirements for alcohol and tobacco sales.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle various forms of currency and make accurate change
- Ability to recognize numbers and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise and clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate low and high temperatures for short periods
- Ability to lift a minimum of 10 pounds from the floor to a height of 5 feet
