Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager oversees the delivery of exceptional service following the Hi Five Guest Experience phases. Responsibilities include managing associates, ensuring proper guest interactions, maintaining store conditions, and supervising shift operations while complying with all regulations. Duties also encompass handling sales transactions, stocking merchandise, ensuring security measures, and completing required paperwork. The role requires effective communication skills, ability to perform tasks under varying temperature conditions, and physical capability to handle merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment including POS terminal and check identification documents
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic to complete required records
- Ability to move merchandise and place for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to temperatures between -30°F and +33°F for specific durations
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place a package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet at a height of 3 feet
