Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding service by managing associate performance, ensuring store readiness, and facilitating effective guest services. Key responsibilities include overseeing store operations, managing cash transactions, and maintaining store conditions. The role requires effective communication skills in English, ability to handle financial transactions accurately, and capacity to manage and train associates. Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and to check identification documents.
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps accurately.
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic to complete records.
- Ability to move merchandise and clean store surfaces.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures for specified durations.
- Ability to lift items of specified weights.
