Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary
Drive sales, services, and customer engagement while ensuring the store is ready for business. Establish customer relationships to build loyalty and grow the business, guiding your team in being positive, inclusive, and collaborative. Provide daily direction for merchandising opportunities, establish business cadence for sales readiness, and deliver plans for growth based on reviewing results against business goals. Manage conflict cooperatively and assist with delegating operational tasks in partnership with the GM. Full-time hours with weekly pay, generous paid time off, and a career development program. Compensation is based on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years managing a sales team in a retail or services industry
- Experience managing and coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based environment
- Must be able to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs
- Strong communication, organization, planning and adaptive to changing business priorities
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using financial metrics to track sales progress to drive profitable sales and margins
- Ability to network and engage with the community
