Job Summary
Direct all store business processes, drive sales growth, and manage P&L ownership including inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets. Lead a team of approximately ten people, develop department managers, and coach leaders on performance and hiring decisions. Oversee perishable and non-perishable operations, ensuring compliance with safety, food safety, and sanitation standards through audits. Manage inventory from ordering to stocking, verify product freshness and pricing, and address emergencies, crises, and loss prevention concerns with urgency. Maintain store leadership alignment with Sprouts values, Educate and Enrich standards, and 8+ store conditions while resolving issues with the BPS team.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- 1-3 years of retail experience
- Have and maintain Food Safety certification
- Able to lift 60 pounds between 15 inches and 70 inches above the ground
- Pushing and pulling racks and U-boats of merchandise is common throughout a typical day
- Push and pull force required ranges from 80 pounds to 100 pounds
- Stand on hard surfaces continuously
- Walk up to 2 miles
- Reach vertically to access upper levels
- Transfer items horizontally
- Wear PPE consistent with the task assignment
- Tools and equipment used include, but are not limited to, phone, computer, mouse, keyboard, ovens, freezers, meat and cheese cutters, grinders, scales, mixers, box cutters, scanners, cash register, carts, and pallet jacks
