Job Summary
Supervise daily retail sales team activities, ensuring high-quality customer service and effective induction of new employees. Manage store merchandising, housekeeping, and in-store promotions while adhering to cash handling policies and updating shelf-edge labels weekly. Assist the store manager with recruitment, performance management, and back office duties, including deputising when needed. Communicate sales performance, react to local market trends, and proactively address customer complaints. Achieve agreed targets and escalate issues appropriately.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 3 years retail supervisory experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Operational knowledge of retail environment
- HACCP trained
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- An understanding of consumer needs
- Self-motivated & ambitious
- Computer literate
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of CBE back office would be an advantage
