Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager supports the store manager in sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability. Responsibilities include creating weekly schedules, monitoring payroll documentation, supervising sales, inventory, and cash handling, coaching and training associates on product knowledge and visual merchandising, maintaining store standards and housekeeping, driving sales performance, administering operational processes, and assisting in recruiting and development of store staff. Requires strong communication, customer service, leadership, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; travel to stores within the district is expected. Wage range is $19.00–$23.75 per hour, with benefits including health plans, 401(k), PTO, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Minimum 3 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Able to travel to stores throughout the district
- Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
- The wage range for this position is $19.00 to $23.75 per hour (hourly)
