Job Summary
Assist store manager in planning, directing and controlling the operation of the store and supervision of employees to control production, inventory, merchandising, losses, gross and net profit and hours of work in all departments. They assist in supervising the ordering of product to fill the store, support sales plans, and maximize sales, in addition to insuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They are responsible for all hiring, firing, promotions, demotions and disciplinary actions for all employees.
Required Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ages 18+
- Responsibility for hiring, firing, promotions, demotions and disciplinary actions
- Travel to and from work
- Read/write/add/subtract/multiply/divide
- Operate all store equipment and program cash register
- Write work schedules and reports
- Discipline employees when necessary
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures
- Supervise recruiting and training of employees
- Experience in supervision and leadership
- Ability to balance cash and financial statements
- Interpret financial statements including profit and loss
