Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager assists the store manager in planning, directing and controlling store operations, supervising employees, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include supervising product ordering, supporting sales plans, maximizing sales, hiring/firing/promotions, implementing policies, balancing cash, governing inventory and losses, scheduling, communicating results to staff, coordinating vendor relations, training and supervising employees, and maintaining adherence to state and federal regulations. Requires ability to read financial statements (profit and loss), develop objectives to address deficiencies, operate cash registers, prepare schedules and reports, and travel to and from work. Strong interpersonal skills and proven leadership are essential.
Required Qualifications
