Job Summary
Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational goals by driving sales and leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Use reporting tools to track progress toward goals, identify performance improvement opportunities, and foster a positive team culture through active coaching and communication. Assist with recruiting, hiring, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels while managing daily coffeebar operations, including inventory control, cash handling, and compliance with safety standards. Work 40 hours per week in a variety of schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. This developmental role prepares candidates for Store Manager readiness within 12 to 18 months.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years management/supervisory experience within the service, food industry or equivalent related experience and training in related industry
- open availability and follow management scheduling guidelines working 40 hours per week
- Ability to work a variety of hours/schedules to support business needs, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Must be able to comply with Peet's Employment of Minors policies, supervise and work with and among minors
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country where this job is located
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to perform various physical tasks during the work shift
