Job Summary
Lead the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals while ensuring the sales floor is adequately staffed. Serve as a role model for sales associates by prioritizing the customer experience and reinforce service principles through coaching on successes and challenges. Utilize training resources to educate the team on products and improve selling skills, ensuring timely resolution of client service issues including delivery and pick-up. Maintain appropriate staff coverage in all store areas to support management objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
- Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner
- Great time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities
- 2-3 years of previous retail sales experience or management experience in a customer service related field
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
