Job Summary
Lead the store team to create exceptional customer experiences and exceed sales goals by ensuring adequate sales floor staffing and modeling best practices in sales generation and service. Reinforce customer service principles through coaching staff on successes and challenges, while utilizing training resources to educate the team on products and business objectives. Manage client service issues including delivery and pick-up through effective use of the client information reporting system to ensure timely resolution. Maintain a positive environment where all associates are treated fairly in accordance with the People-First Philosophy. This role supports the management team in achieving goals by providing world-class service and building relationships with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills
- Superior critical thinking skills to creatively identify challenges and develop action plans in a timely manner
- Great time management skills and ability to execute multiple tasks and appropriately manage competing priorities
- 2-3 years of previous retail sales experience or management experience in a customer service related field
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
