Job Summary
Oversee daily showroom operations, including sales, customer service, and maintenance while mentoring and training a team of commissioned sales associates. Coach staff to establish realistic monthly sales goals, develop action plans, and maintain high morale to increase sales profitability and customer satisfaction. Assist in keeping the showroom clean and inviting, participate in the sales process to enhance the customer experience, and implement individual and team goals to maximize potential. This full-time role requires a flexible schedule covering days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starting salary is $60,000 per year based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales management
- experience focused in the furniture industry managing commissioned sales associates
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- fluent in both English and Spanish
- knowledge of computer programs like Outlook, Word and Excel
- ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- desire to succeed in a sales driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales management, specifically with experience focused in the furniture industry managing commissioned sales associates
