Job Summary
Oversee daily showroom operations, including sales, customer service, and maintenance. Mentor, train, and coach a team of commissioned sales associates to improve customer experience and sales profitability. Implement individual and team goals, establish realistic monthly targets, and provide ongoing support to maximize potential. Maintain a clean, inviting showroom environment and actively participate in the sales process to enhance the customer shopping experience. Assist in maintaining positive staff morale. Work a flexible retail schedule covering days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales management
- experience focused in the furniture industry managing commissioned sales associates
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- fluent in both English and Spanish
- knowledge of computer programs like Outlook, Word and Excel
- ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- desire to succeed in a sales driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales management, specifically with experience focused in the furniture industry managing commissioned sales associates
