Assistant Store Manager oversees showroom operations, mentors and trains a team of commissioned sales associates to improve customer experience and sales profitability, coaches staff to meet monthly sales objectives, maintains an inviting showroom, participates in the sales process to enhance customer shopping experience, and supports leadership in ensuring high morale and effective staff development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail sales management, preferably in furniture industry
- strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- experience managing commissioned sales associates
- proficiency with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment
