Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager in achieving store sales budgets by executing company standards, policies, and procedures while exceeding customer expectations. Lead by example in sales and customer service, and support recruitment activities including hiring new staff. Provide product knowledge and selling skills training to both new and existing employees. Execute opening and closing procedures according to company policies and motivate the team through coaching and leadership. Prioritize tasks to meet business demands and maintain the Roots experience for customers and staff. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail apparel management experience
- Great sense of style and a love for fashion
- Demonstrated ability to strive in an environment that is customer service driven with a focus on selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights and weekends
